Pictopía & Un Mundo Feliz
Estuvimos en la presentación del libro Pictopía, un volumen gráfico que recoge 400 ilustraciones y 200 peliculitas en quicktime de temática social y política. Sonia & Gabriel Freeman (Madrid, España) los impulsores del proyecto, han creado un libro certero, sencillo y eficaz. Frente al barroquismo imperante y las formas caprichosas, Pictopía apuesta por la síntesis y la imagen útil. Una buena biblioteca de recursos para un mundo más feliz.
Contiene textos de Alain Le Quernec, Andrea Rauch, Josh MacPhee, Manuel Estrada y Raquel Pelta. Se puede encontrar en la librería Graphicbook.
We were in the “Pictopía book” presentation , a volume which contains 400 graphic illustrations and 200 short quicktime films within social and political themes. Sonia & Gabriel Freeman (Madrid, Spain) partners of the project, have created an accurate, simple and effective book. Faced with the prevailing barroque and capricious forms, Pictopía wager on synthesis and useful images. A good resource library for a happier world.
